O Christmas Tree - Teaching Package

This well known Christmas carol is arranged in C major. Beginning students will love the part 2 duet with the waltz like accompaniment yet simplicity of the notes. Part 2 only uses open G, open C, open E and D on the second fret. The chord shapes are also perfect for beginners with C6, G6 and Am. Students will can develop the skill of playing an accompaniment while singing the melody.

The teaching package comes complete with projectable slides with helpful visuals to project as you teach (or just review if you’ve already taught the UFC method) the notes and chords used in this arrangement. Each slide in landscape orientation has been formatted with larger print and notation to make the song easy to see from every corner of your class!

Also included are the chord chart and full 3 part arrangement in portrait orientation so that they are easy to print and fit in a binder.

Please note: Part 1 and 2 have been written for low G tuning. However the chords can be played with high G ukuleles while you sing the melody. You can easily modify Part 2 to high G if that’s your preferred tuning.
