Spend 90 minutes with Ukulele for Children author, Christina O’Brien and walk away with the skills and confidence to launch or refresh the ukulele program at your school.
During this interactive session, Christina will provide instruction on:
- Ideas to introduce the uke to students as young as Kindergarten or First Grade
- Warm-ups and songs you can introduce before reading on the staff
- Easy ways to transition to treble staff reading, and note playing on the ukulele
- Ensemble arrangements that allow parts for every ability level
- Teaching chords in a way that makes sense for little fingers and won’t stress you out!
- How to maximize your Ukulele for Children school license and all the extras!!!
